About 3 months ago the fine people at Mak sent me a new ignitor that had shorted out. I believe it was the new style ignitor. Worked great till the other day. Usually when they short the will trip the breaker. This time the breaker did not trip. But no heat at the ignitor. Can you give me some tips on finding out which component has failed. Thx

Just an update. Ohmed out the ignitor and it was 0 ohms. Open to ground. Thinking the board.

Good morning Rick! Your best bet would be to call Matt or Bruce here at MAK and they can walk through a few troubleshooting items and narrow down what's going on. If you're not free to chat, you can email them at [email protected] and they can troubleshoot via email.
