Questions about drum build

I'd like to add a second shelf to my drum. Can I do this without using a raised lid. If I need a raised lid what size weber lid do I need.

yeap, if you using BP drum kit the 2nd shelf sits where the raised basket sits. a regular 22" weber lid won't fit my drum. there are 2 different types of drums. american drum and chinese/japanese drums. the chinese drums are smaller on top. i weber lid should work on the chinese drums. i'm not sure if a chinese drum will work w/ a BP drum kit. if the top grate fits in the drum then it will work.
