I am very interested in trying a few of the recipes I see on several forums. Many look to die for. Just a little something I noticed on some of them. It helps enormously when trying to duplicate the results if all of the ingredients are listed along with the amounts. Specifically one recipe I am going to use lists all ingredients and amounts for the marinade, then goes on to say "some meat" for the amount. This really doesnt help too much. I am very fussy about recording everything I do when working with a recipe. Too many times in the past I came up with something really good and then couldn't do it again if my life depended on it. I weigh and measure everything.

Posting the recipe with your pics gets to be pretty long - whenever someone ask for it though I have always posted the recipe or sent it to them in a PM. Same goes whenever I have asked, most will share their recipe when you ask.

AHHHHHHHH misunderstood again. Lol. Thanks for the answers. I agree about long pic postings. BUT "a pic is worth a thou. words. Photos do much for a recipe. That said is was specifically interested in How much meat in lbs. BIG POPPA used in his Jerky recipe. It looks like one I want to try. I just finished slicing 15 lbs of Londonbroil and would like to put maybe 5 lbs to that recipe. It helps to know the amount of meat intended. I guess I should have just said that in the beginning :). About me I just do this to keep off of the street. Retired and been making sausage, jerky and whatever else you can make out of meat or fish since I was a kid. Always looking for something better or at least differently good. Smoke lots of salmon. When I can beg enough to fire up the smoker.
