Never seen nor heard of it. There are so many rubs out there these days.
It is #1 on the Top 100 Ranked BBQ Rubs in the World on BBQ Superstars site based on this criteria: Competition’s Won, Total Retail Sales, Teams winning with the sauce, Overall Reputation, Number of places stocked internet and retail. For comparison sake they have Smokin Guns at #6 and Big Poppa at #9.
I have no idea of the reputation of that site, but I was out searching for some new rubs to try and google led me to the list.

Really stupid how they judged these rubs:
-Number of places stocked
I have not come across any rubs in any large retail stores that compare to BPS Rubs, just cause they are in more locations does not mean they are a better rub. Just cause it is stocked on say every Walmart shelf doesn't make it the best.
-Total retail sales
Since when does total retail sales have anything to do with one rub being better than another. It just may mean it was marketed better, it doesn't mean it is the best rub. A person might be lucky enough to get his product on a Walmart shelf & sell a pile of it but it does not mean it is the best. Should be best flavor not sales.
-Overall reputation
Here again don't see where this comes into effect with the flavor. Should be best flavor not reputation.
