Don't leave your chicken thighs for 56 hours in Jamaican jerk marinade!

I had planned on cooking them on Tuesday, but I got home, started the MAK, and saw on FB that our favorite wing place was having a spring break FB special - $5.00 all you can eat wings, usually $14.95. We were on that like a dog on a pork chop. My son and I ate 60 wings for $10.60

So I got around to cooking them tonight.

Zowwwie! that will get your attention!

1/2 of the thighs got a Carolina treet/salt lick treatment, the other 1/2 got the Jamaican treatment.

The Salt lick ones were spot on, I've done them that way before. I did not add the rub until right before cooking.

The Jamaican ones, on the other hand, started with a jerk and heat flavor explosion in your mouth, then the heat builds, and builds, and builds. Wow chee momma! Eyes watering, head shaking... Not like an immediate intense "Daves insanity" kind of heat, but a build up.

But the 20YO ate three of them...

I am sure my son would love them. He just plain likes hot, hot wings! I might have to keep a big ole glass of milk handy.
