Cliff,
How close to the earthquake were you? It wasn't something you cooked, was it?

LOL!!! I didn't even know it happened until I read your post and had to look it up!

It was near Youngstown (close to the PA border) a little over an hour away.

Since I was busy doing other stuff yesterday afternoon, I don't think it was my cooking that caused it. :p

Authorities are thinking it may have been caused by wastewater, from a drilling operation that extracts natural gas from shale, being injected into a deep underground well near a fault line since they've been having other smaller tremors lately. They say it may actually be lubricating the tectonic plates and causing the small quakes.

I thought only we had them on the west coast.

Don't forget about the one that happened this past July near D.C. We felt that one here in N.E. Ohio even though it was a smaller magnitude that the one in Youngstown this past Saturday.
