I am new to the site and would appreciate information regarding pellet smoking. I have a Backwoods Smoker I was using. But I have had two heart attacks and now unable to get the wood needed. I was told that I could use propane burners in my smoker and use pellets to have the smoke flavor that is needed. I was informed that using oak and combination of apple pellets was the way to go.
