CAJUN BACON!
Salt, cure, brown sugar, Soileau's (3 tsp) and a tsp of black pepper.

Mystic Hickory Shagbark Back Bacon! (using the CB recipe that KyNola has linked to)
Essentially 1 T of Morton Tenderquick and 1 t each of onion powder, brown sugar and garlic powder per pound of trimmed loin.
I injected a few ounces of syrup into the loin before rubbing, then dumped a little more in the bag before sealing it.
Thanks Deb for the syrup and the 2 gallon bags!
Into the FrankenFridge.
We'll give each one a flip-flop and a little love rub every day, and hit them with smoke next Sunday..
