Finally got some free time to begin using my Memphis pellet smoker. Made several mistakes but learned a lot and the food, while not the best, is still edible.

Four racks of baby backs, seasoned as shown (could have done without the garlic salt--too salty, darn it)

Bonus pick of an Easter basket I made:

Sauced a rack with Best BBQ Sauce You'll Ever Taste and with two with some 17th Street Spicy BBQ Sauce. The first dry rack got scarfed pretty fast:

Honestly, they came out over done and too salty but I learned a lot about this type of cooking and if Big Poppa says he fielded several panicked phone calls from me during the day he's a damn LIAR.

Great looking first attempt if all they were was too salty then you will have it dialed in no time!

Ribs as the first cook is a bold move! Most start with a butt or something more forgiving... As said, you'll get it dialed in in no time!
