Two food groups in one…

When I moved further south (from Virginia to North Carolina), I learned to really appreciate one of the South’s finer traditions, namely Pimento cheese. In my book this is a major food group. Here is one of my favorites.

But when you can take one major food group and add it to another food group it only gets better! Adding BACON to just about anything is good. But adding BACON to pimento cheese is even better. Check it out.

The question for the day is “Does this make this a super food group?” In my book, YES!!!

Give me some pimento cheese with a thick slice of fresh tomato on some rye bread and Oh man... I've got lunch! The bacon would only make it that much more heavenly.
