We had a great day in SoCal. Amy, Rachael and I spent the better part of the day with Harry and Donna. We met them at our first contest at Havasu this year. Harry puts on a great BBQ class, and we were fortunate to be able to go. His classes are small and very hands on. It was neat to have Donna there, a very good pitmaster herself, as she added many of her techniques as well. Rachael our youngest daughter was able to go with us, she has a real passion for BBQ. I haven't been back to this part of Cailfornia for 28 years, so it was cool to take the girls to where I grew up. We ended the day at one of my favorite places to go.

Class looked fun. Looks like you had a great time. I don't feel so sorry for the Angels, though. I'm still bummed they took Albert....big cardinals fan here.

I was born in Covina, CA. My family had butcher shops in the San Grabriel Valley for almost 60 years. We moved to Utah when I was 21 and opened a meat market in Ogden, UT. I split off and opened a shop in Salt Lake City over 20 years ago. We love it here, only one proublem, not enough BBQ comps. The Salt Lake Bees are the Angels minor league team. Fun games to go to.
