weekend in santa cruz

i thought i would post some pics of my weekend w/ the mrs. this is were i spend all my time as a kid. if i wasn't in school i was here. i love it here.

this is the santa cruz boardwalk taken from the wharf.

the beach in capitola. we sat on this bench for 2 hours just soaking up the sun and drinking a few beers.

this is were i spend most of the weekend. its called the hooks. always got here at high tide while the tide was going out. bigger waves. this is my favorite spot. less attidude here than other places to surf.

i like to surf hooks. very mellow and there is stairs to go down from the road to the beach. much safer. if you go surf at steamers lane you have to throw your board off a cliff and then jump down 50' to the water. stairs much safer. my wife says we can move down to santa cruz / capitola in about a year from now. its so relaxing here.
