Interesting thread! :)

Fishing, hunting, camping, music.. I play guitar, piano, fiddle, mandolin, ipod. :) I love any type of music.
Woodworking, airplanes (I have air in my blood).
Anything outdoors and any form of outdoor cooking.
Not sure if I am considered to be a shrimper.. but I am in the fall. lol

I enjoy my horses. Riding is so relaxing. (If I'm not checking fence or chasing a cow).

Not sure if these are hobbies but this is part of what I do when not online.

Music... I forgot to mention Singing... I sing in an a Capella (barbershop harmony) chorus. We are singing tomorrow at a Veterans Day ceremony.

Most of my time is spent doing things with my wife and kids. When I get some free time, I enjoy golfing, snowboarding, fishing and playing guitar.

Photography, Bass Fishing,Welding/fabrication. Long time NASCAR fan.

Just to add to this post. My Photography has lead me to doing local sports when my daughter was a cheerleader ten years ago. It is a thrill to be able to give a photo to someone playing a sport they love.
A couple of years ago my daughter found "Life Rolls On" and signed up to help at one of their events. She found out they could use some photographers and had me there for their "They Will Surf Again" event.
That was three years ago. Last Saturday was this years local event for me. It is a day that I always leave physically and emotionally exhausted and thankful for the opportunity.

my wife won't let me sing. she says i sound like a dead cat. she's mean. that can't be right. anyway, a dead cats can't sing. :(

Make a joyful noise anyway. I only started singing in our church choir and then Barbershop when I got to my 40's. Before that, only the dog liked it.

Family (especially visting our grandson), travel, cooking, BBQ judging, reading, guns (I do minor gunsmithing and reloading), shooting (I compete in Smallbore Metallic Silhouette), hunting (I like to hunt elk and mule deer out west), fly fishing (I tie my own flies), golf (when my back cooperates), and my latest hobby, bike riding ( I am using this to strengthen my core which has already helped my shooting and hopefully will help my golf). The biggest problem is that I never have enough time to do all these things. Being retired I thought I would have more time for them. Not true. I don't know how I ever fit work into my schedule before I retired.

I am looking to get a bycycle to get into better shape and us to get into more secluded hunting areas.

With two little ones a lot of the hobbies have been scaled back (not a bad thing) but I still love getting saddle time on the Mtn. Bike, listening to music (over 14,000 songs on the iPod at last check, its a problem like pellets) Hiking, travel, camping, home movie editing, and good book when time allows.

My first love is cooking, after that I play tournament Texas Hold-um three times a week at the local casinos. My Grandkids take up the rest of my time. I love teaching them how to cook. Life is good when you're retired. LOL

Harleys working on them, riding them.. The Ozarks are quite unique and not many straight flat roads.

Way back when I turned 40 (I'm the same age as BP) my kids bought me a bass guitar. This absolutely changed my life. I had never played an instrument and, for some reason, this one stuck. Big time.

Today, I play in multiple bands. From blues to cajun/zydeco to all original music. I play at least 4 nights a week.

Then, around 3 years ago, my wife asked if I'd join her in tap dance. I was a bit hesitant, then realized tap is basically percussion. And as a bass player, I'm definitely in tune with percussion.

Today, my wife and I tap 1 or 2 nights a week, and attend shows when ever possible.

We're big on live theatre and music, movies, and we really love to travel. She's the photographer, so, pretty much everything we do is well documented.

Oh, and I have a job.
