Whatcha get for Christmas?

Well since my birthday is 12/23 I'll include it.

My wonderfull wife got me this!

Ground up 5lbs of butt and 1lb of fatback for some breakfast sausage. Turned out great!

Ground up a 3lb chuck roast for burgers tonight.

And for Christmas Santa brought me the rest. Good Santa.

Can't wait to hook up the remote pellet boss. It's been a VERY merry Christmas

I'm a huge J. R. R. Tolkein fan and my gifts had a "Lord of the Rings" theme going. I already had the movies (regular & extended versions) on DVD, but my wife knew I wanted the extended version on BlueRay and got the gift set for me (Thank you sweety!). I got LOTR Pez dispensers from my daughter, and a hard back copy of the books from my friend. The funny thing is none of the three knew the others were giving me LOTR related stuff!

Food/BBQ related gifts: My son got me a really nice Chicago Cutlerly chef's knife. And I got $100 from my MIL to go towards a meat slicer.

My Birthday is on the 31st so my wife doubled up and got me a remote pellet boss, I opened it when it arrived a couple of weeks ago (couldn't wait) and have used it 1/2 a dozen times. it is a must have for cold weather cooks. Then she surprised me with a marinade express, a Big Poppa t-shirt, and a can coozie on Christmas day. What a great Christmas!
