My first thought is you can get a new 1 star cheaper from Big Poppa. You can use the $$$ savings for an upper rack to give you double the cooking area.
On one hand 1600 seems fair to me depending on the condition of the 2 star. On the other hand for the same money I could get a shiny new 1 star deliverd to my house.

If it was me I would offer less than his asking price to get it lower than a new 1 star.
