New HD igniter's are now in stock and shipping with new grills.
I believe we finally designed a long lasting igniter solution! It has taken 3 years and so many prototypes I lost count, this one is finally holding up to MAK Standards

I suggest you wait until you need it, your current one might last for years
If you do have an issue you can always manually light until the new one arrives.
If you want to buy a spare you can do that as well.

Perfect timing! My igniter went out a week ago.

My igniter went out last week and just got my new HD igniter installed and am up and running. It does seem to take a little bit longer to start but I think it may just be because I was in withdrawals after going through the weekend without cooking something.

Depending on what igniter you had before this could be true, or could be withdrawals too
