Maybe add a 600 stone. Past a 600 you get into blade polishing. Which looks great. I don't think they get any sharper. The big trick is the ceramic stone when you done.

Order mine on Tuesday and it shipped yesterday. I did order ALL the extras that are listed; a 600 stone, 2000 & 3000 paper and holding stone and another 200 pounds of pellets.

Got the Apex Pro this week. Easy to use and puts on a nice edge. I just thought my Chef Mate sharpened my knives. It actually just ate them up.
