Smoking Salt

Amazon for the jars and the salt. Smoked on the Mak on smoke settting in warming box for three hours. Just a half sheet pan with parchment paper.

How many hours did you smoke for?

I'm wondering about using the tube smoker so as to use 100% flavor wood. Not sure it'll be a huge difference in flavor, but I have more variety of the flavor woods. Plus I'm really curious about how the Jack Daniels pellets will turn out.
Great idea Rick! I had seen some boutique and overpriced smoked salt over the summer while on a family trip, and I scoffed at the price,but thought it was a cool idea. I had forgotten about that until you posted this up.
