Started out by taking some Ribeyes out of the fridge to take the chill off before hitting the Yoder.

Sauteing some sweet onions and baby bella mushrooms in some butter.

Had some nice thick cut ribeyes that I seasoned with our own steak dust and then some canadian steak seasoning.

Stars of the show...

And thought... what the heck... lets have some hash-browns too. So tried them in the waffle iron.
Why not right!!

Steaks off and resting....

Finally plated up and ready to inhale!! I was too dam hungry to notice that my plate wasn't nice and clean for the camera shot.

I will try harder next time!

Now that is one fine example of coloring outside the lines. And I thought you could only use a waffle iron for waffles!

Well I am not a hippie... more of a redneck if it had to put a "label" on it :D
And I better not be "old" yet!! LOL!!

I wanna see the hash browns just out of the waffle iron!

I didn't get any of those pics - to busy trying not to burn my fingers getting them out of there. I need to have a "glue" in the hashbrowns next time. I just added them straight out of the bag. Got the idea from Rachael Rays tv show one day. Of course I didn't follow her recipe so they didn't look real pretty. I will be playing with this idea some more. Have to find new uses for the waffle iron - got it as a xmas gift from the step son this past yr.
