Here is one of the families favorites but I twisted it up a little. I use a good shaking of Big Poppa's Money rub. Pre heat you smoker to 330...(chris does it very hot at first)...spark if you are using hazel get a nice sear on it then remove.... put chicken on and put an oven proof pan on the shelf with 1.5 sticks of butter along with 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil.
Cook for 12 minutes Flippy Flippy...12 more
put in the pan for 5 minutes basting quickly...flippy flippy
Serve and enjoy this is super easy and tastes great....I used boneless skin on chicken.
You can do variations of this....instead of the butter basil use butter and your favorite bbq sauce....go a little lighter on the butter then...
