Deep fried vs the MAK turkey

Yesterday I cooked 2 turkeys, one deep fried and the other spatchcock on the MAK 2star. No question, the 2 star bird was hands down the better bird. Next year I am going back to cooking 2 spatchcock birds.


I agree! Also, after refrigerating the deep fried turkey the cold meat has a greasy taste to it when you go to make a turkey sandwich.
