Interesting that you are BBQing bologna. That's, evidently, an Oklahoma treat. I stumbled across "Barbecue Bologna {Oklahoma Prime Rib}" by accident while cruising the web. It not done with slices, though. It's done with a whole bologna. I'll have to try it some time.
