French Dip Sammies

Smoked a small rib roast I had.

The players

Rubbed and ready to go.

Onto the Mak

Sorry this was just a Sammie cook so don’t have a lot of pics.

Sliced up some roast.

The left over’s

Make some au jus

Put the sliced rib in the au jus

Toast some bread and added a little provolone cheese. Plate it up.

Enjoy!

Looks mouthwatering. I usually use sirloin tip roast for sammies. Is the rib roast more better? (grammatically incorrect on purpose)

Rick, Rick, Rick, Rick!!!! That is a killer sammie!! I love French dip sammies. It's right up there with pastrami, corned beef, or a good meat loaf sammie. It is hard to choose, sometimes. The choices we have to make.

I usually slice my leftover rib roasts for sammies...it gets eaten then...quickly by the entire fam...great cook again Rick

Great looking sandwich Rick. Lately I have been using eye of round a cheaper cut of meat but just as good when sliced thin.
