OK Harvey let me hop in here....What temp did you cook the bird at? How Long? You will never get a super heavy smoke...it is a good honest smoke...Search big poppas Turkey and see how I coonk them...People seem to have good results with it.

oh the turkey was very good and i mostly followed your turkey sticky poppa, i brined it for a few hours first, then smoke setting for an hour or so, then cooked at 275 till done, i just meant it wasnt that smokey not that it didnt come out good.
i took half of it to my parents and a few relatives that were there and everyone liked it. my starving rottweiler said it was awesome. and no he isnt starving but he always seems to think he is

You didnt follow my recipe different temp brined smoked first...hahahaha Thats how I follow my wife directions!
