Rib eye sammies

So this was my last cook with my old Traeger and I wanted to make it good. Mak will be here tomorrow. Went to my new BF Nick the butcher and grabbed some 1" 1/4 rib eyes.. hit one with garlic evoo and "The Slabs" rub. Also got some shrooms in a pan with butter, Italian seasoning and a very healthy splash of Merlot.

Everything on at 180 to catch some smoke.. and gave me time to have a beer..

Sorry cubed up some pineapple and hit it with some sweet heat....

Bumped to high.. shrooms are done.. nice colour..

Took a fresh Chiabatta bun and hit it with some garlic spread..

Toasted with some fresh grated Parm..

Sliced the steak thin..

All ready..

BP always points out that the MAK 2 star is another tool for a cook. Judging from the post it appears your a cook who plays guitar. Looks real good. I see I may need a meat slicer. Your going to love your MAK!

Stupid UPS has the new grill held up in customs!! Boo.. if you ever want to frustrate yourself call UPS and try to get a straight answer. Thanks to Kristen and Jessie for working with me to try to get the issue resolved... BP you have some stellar people working for you!!

That there is a fitting last cook on your Traeger, you are gonna love that new MAK, hope it clears customs soon!
