Past 3 years were done in PA. This is the 1st one in GA.

Y'all are welcome to attend on June 23 starting whenever ya get here.

There are lots of local hotels withing 2 miles of our house at the HH Intl Airport which is 9 miles and in Savannah which is 17 miles.

MAK will be going as well as the Bradley and other smokers. Lots of food to.

Let me add to SEGA Smokeout BBQ notice from Nepas. If you plan to arrive on Thursday (June 21) and would like to eat some Tacos al Carbon at Rick's house that evening, please also let Rick know by May 15. I want to be able to have enough food for the dinner.

i sure hope most forum members and new members can make this. if i can go all the way from california then the rest of ya can make it. ya'll are alot closer. it would be a great way to meet everyone. how often do you get to meet art, deb, rick, rip (you better make it buddy), bent (you too). i would love to see marty, tanya, TH and everyone else here. i myself am really looking forward to it. and, we get to eat one of debs famous bourbon cheese cakes and ricks smoked sausage and cheeses. its worth the trip just for that. and if rick lets me borrow his mak i will cook everyone some of my famous (only famous in my mind but my wife says that "dear if you think your famous then thats ok". i love her.) sparky's ribs.

My offer stands on a place to stay on your way down. Are you bringing your wife? If not, check with Sparky to see if he has a roommate yet. Keep us posted.

i don't want a roommate, i snore. well, maybe if you wear my wife flannel pj's. super sexy. and soft too. plus, i finely get a bed w/ out my wife and marley (70lb australian shepherd red merle). its hard to sleep w/ them in the bed. i sure wish i was the boss.

Sounds like it would be a blast. I don't know if the trip will be in the budget this year. We have some work around the house this summer that has been calling our name for some time. Have to get an electrician and a carpenter though... that could be about impossible!!

Be sure to take lots of pictures so we can see all the fun we missed out on!!

Being a new member I'm not sure what the SEGA Smokeout BBQ is. Could someone explain it to the newbies? I would like to make it if possible, I have two new grand babies on the way that I will need to work my schedule around.

Here are some directions if driving on I 95 N & S. Most of the Port Wentworth hotels are located right there at exit 109.

Driving from the North

I 95 S to GA Exit 109. Take a right at bottom of ramp. This is GA Hwy 21. Drive approx 2.5 miles to the Rice Mill development. This will be the long left turn lane. Careful for the heavy truck traffic.

Driving from South

Take I 95 North to GA exit 109 (last exit in GA) Take the ramp and turn left onto Hwy 21. Approx distance is the same as above.

If your coming from other points please PM me for my address for your GPS.

I have been asked to see how many are attending?
