First time using the wine soaked oak pellets for me. I cooked some pork steak and pork chop on the MAK 1 Star. I was very ,very pleased with the taste and the outcome.
Anybody out there who hasn't tried them I highly recommend that you do.
Wine soaked Oak will be one of my keep in supply from now on.

No nepas they didn't . I remember someone saying that now in a earlier thread since you mention it. But I had no issues at all even cleaned out my hopper afterwards put what was left in plastic bowl all was intact.

I guess that would apply to any liquid right? So trying to soak pellets with bourbon would also make them swell and fall apart? I guess the wood is soaked before being turned into pellets.......

I done allot of stuff and every time i had any liquid on pellets they soaked up the liquid and turned into soaked dust.

Like maybe the wood was soaked into the wood before pressed into the die to make pellets?

Just saying
