BP or anyone? Would it do me any good to rub a butt the night before and let it set over night before cooking? Or no different than rubbing right before the cook?

Yes, it will make a difference but it will be up to you if it's better or not. Try it. Always experiment and learn what works for you.

I like to inject it and put a rub on it and then put in the fridge overnight. Adds a little bit of an edge I believe.
