When my MAK 2 star was delivered, I immediately used the MAK pellets that came with it. I really like the smoke profile, kind of a sweet smelling smoke. Also, when the grill was on smoke setting, I got nearly continuous smoke (more after an auger run but always some). I ran out of MAK pellets...
The screw around which the grill top rotates (right side) keeps falling out all of a sudden. I have put it back in and tightened it as much as I think I can and it keeps happening. It almost appears that the screw is too short. Or, something is out of alignment. Thoughts?

Well, after seasoning my grill last night, I went straight to the Filets tonight. Here's a pic after 2 minutes on the searing grate at 500 degrees. They turned out awesome! Had a nice dusting of BP's Double Secret Steak Rub. I got an A+ from my wife and steak-loving 16 year old.

I had been waiting on the wifi to be available prior to ordering a 2 star general. As I was looking through the details, I noticed that only certain routers have been successfully connected. I have an Apple AirPort Extreme. Anybody have any luck with apple routers yet?
